Emily Schwarz – Veterans Benefits

Emily Schwarz, a native of Washington, D.C., grew up with a strong passion for our country and seniors due to her father’s government service and mother’s work in long-term care. She opened a national homecare franchise, combining her professional skills with genuine care for people. In 2008, Emily shifted her focus to helping elderly wartime veterans and their families afford care through a VA benefit. This led to the creation of AidandAttendance.com, an innovative website assisting senior care professionals and residents in understanding and navigating the benefit process. AidandAttendance.com was later acquired by ElderLife Financial, where Emily became VP of Sales, expanding her reach to help families with additional care payment options. Emily is continuing her mission of educating families about untapped resources, alongside her husband, two college-age children, and their Greyhound companion, Griffin.
