Kendra Tietz, has been a nurse for almost 20 years, starting as a Neuro nurse and then following her passion of working in hospice for over 17 years. She is currently the hospice clinical manager and has a master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management. “In my opinion, hospice is the best nursing field, but I am biased! Hospice nurses are the navy seals of the nursing profession. They exhibit some of the highest levels of critical thinking required to guide patients to end of life. I am proud to be a nurse and even more proud to be considered a hospice nurse.”
Dani Barnes, has worked with St. Luke’s Hospice for almost a decade. Starting with overseeing clinician’s schedules and referral intake, she has since moved into Community Outreach for hospice and home health programs.
