Mark Friedman is an entrepreneur, operator, and strategic advisor at the intersection of healthcare, aging, and workforce productivity. He is the Owner of Senior Helpers Boston and South Shore, where he has built a high-performing, outcomes-driven in-home care platform enabling older adults to age safely and independently.
He is also Co-Founder of Dwel.Digital, a workforce innovation company helping employers reduce absenteeism, improve retention, and drive measurable ROI from wellness investments by supporting employees managing eldercare—an issue impacting nearly half of the workforce.
Mark is a recognized leader in the aging and home care sector, serving on advisory boards for multiple eldercare and health innovation companies and acting as an expert witness in home care–related litigation. He is an advocate for standardized licensing and care practices in Massachusetts to improve quality, consistency, and accountability.
Under his leadership, his agency became the first independent provider in the U.S. to earn Age-Friendly Care at Home Certification from CHAP. He is a certified trainer of the Virtual Dementia Tour® and author of A Guide to Excellent (and Successful) Aging. His credentials include Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), and Certified Long-Term Care Claims Professional (LTCCP).
Previously, Mark served as VP of Services and Operations at Assured Allies, building a national care delivery platform integrating predictive analytics and risk management. He was Managing Director, Americas for ECSI Consulting, Founder of Real Time Strategy, and VP, Head of Retail for adidas U.S. and Canada.
Across 20+ years, he has advised organizations across healthcare, financial services, retail, telecom, media, and manufacturing throughout the U.S., South America, and Europe, driving growth, transformation, and operational excellence.
He holds an MBA (High Distinction) from Carnegie Mellon (Tepper) and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
